For over 10 years Stan Evans has been searching the world looking for beauty and wonder, hoping to capture something special with his lens. This obsession began as a young boy living in Alaska, taking in magestic scenery every day. In High school he picked up his first real camera and with a little help from his teacher, reality became magic in the darkroom. From there Stan went on to study photography at Montana State University. Learning from skilled professors, progression came quickly in Montana and soon Stan was shooting and writing feature stories before completeting his bachelors degree of Media and Theature Arts. Since then, Stan has shot several ad campaigns and editorial projects, making new friends while experiencing new cultures along the way. While the little boy has grown up some, he still loves to snowboard, surf, travel, meet new people and eat interesting foods so in a sense the search is still on. SE
